Norton Rose Fulbright Hiring for Senior Financial Accountant Job at Newcastle upon Tyne, England Full Time

Our Newcastle office is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant. The role is based in the Newcastle Hub and suits a qualified accountant who is capable of working independently to support Norton Rose Fulbright’s finance function across Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) offices. Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, the role is a mixture of responsibilities for UK reporting as well as supporting the accounting activities across EMEA offices.

Skills and Experience Required

The individual should:

• Enjoy working independently, taking ownership for full deliverables (from initial analysis to reporting to leadership)
• Be self-motivated and self-disciplined, passionate about meeting deadlines
• Have excellent communication and influencing skills
• Be a good problem solver, methodical in approach and an “eye for detail”

Experience required:

• Qualified accountant with 3 years+ post qualification experience
• Strong background in financial controls, would suit someone with previous external audit experience
• Proven track record of managing and delivering against competing deadlines
• Responsibility for communicating and coordinating accounting and finance professionals across international businesses
• SAP ERP system or SAP BPC Reporting experience (desirable)
• Working within a large professional services organisation (desirable)
