Job description:
Engage students through active online discussions and collaborative learning experiences
Provide rich and timely feedback on student assessments
Regularly interact with students outside of the traditional workday
Facilitate academic, personal and spiritual growth
Interact and collaborate with full-time NWC content area faculty
Minimum requirements:
Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from a regionally accredited institution, doctorate in education preferred, for the master’s in educational administration and special education programs
Master’s degree for the early childhood program and special education endorsement programs
Minimum of 3 years work experience leading a preK-12 school
Superior written communication and interpersonal skills
Experience teaching and learning in the online environment preferred
Adept with technology, including the Internet, learning management systems and Microsoft Office programs. Blackboard experience a plus.
Must own a reliable portable computer with Internet connection
Flexible schedule; must be willing to work with students outside of the traditional workday
Highly self-directed
