Northwest Clinical Research Center (NWCRC) in Bellevue, Washington is seeking to hire an Accounting Associate/Bookkeeper. NWCRC conducts clinical trials for research in the medical field.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s Degree in accounting preferred
· Minimum one-year experience in a customer service position.
· Minimum one-year experience with financial accounting including accounts payable/receivable and reconciliation.
· Advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook skills, as well as knowledge of QuickBooks.
· Ability to interact with and assist all patients in a professional and culturally competent manner.
· We are a drug free company, including marijuana. Employment is contingent upon a negative drug test result and background check.
· We require all our staff to be COVID-19 vaccinated.
SUMMARY:
The Accounting Associate’s position plays a significant role in the conduct of clinical trials. We are a high-volume clinical trial clinic and are looking for someone to help organize and streamline patient reimbursement and other benefits, such as transportation.
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable insight and knowledge of clinical research and the development of new pharmaceutical medications.
Responsibilities include:
· Coordinating and distributing payments to patients in alignment with study contract agreements.
· Creating and maintaining detailed excel spreadsheets.
· Tracking patient payments.
· Arranging and tracking transportation for patients in alignment with study contract agreements.
· Ability to read and comprehend clinical trial contracts.
· Ability to thoroughly explain study reimbursement details to patients and study coordinators.
· Coordinating with regulatory and contracts department to reconcile patient consent forms with study contracts to ensure compliance.
· Invoice payments and work as a team with accounting department to meet objectives and department goals.
SKILLS:
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Flexibility and ability to prioritize and multi-task throughout the day.
· Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and a problem-solver.
