As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer at Northrop Grumman, you will directly impact the quality of candidates we hire by sourcing and prescreening top quality talent in the marketplace. This role can be based at any of our primary locations listed below. We will consider a fully remote telework option for this role, as well.

The Successful candidate will be part of an in-house strategic sourcing team who proactively supports the recruiting function. This individual will support staffing and event planning for our Launch & Missile Defense Solutions business (within the Northrop Grumman Space Systems sector) with primary locations in:

• Huntsville AL
• Chandler AZ
• Vandenberg Space Force Base CA
• Boulder and Colorado Springs CO
• Kennedy Space Center FL
• Clearfield, Magna, and Promontory UT

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Researching market conditions and industry trends as it relates to our competitors to assist in decision-making and marketing positions.
• Assisting in the planning, organizing, hosting and evaluating the effectiveness of recruiting events that support Northrop Grumman business objectives including building relationships, generating excitement around Northrop Grumman, growing candidate pipelines, and amplify brand awareness.
• Organizing, tracking, and managing recruiting event activities across multiple markets and locations.
• Consulting with Hiring Managers on recruiting priorities, determining the right event platform, leading meetings to delegate responsibility and checking for accountability, managing event timelines, partnering with communications to increase event visibility and interest of target audiences, as well as tracking and monitoring event metrics.
• Demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in organizing, hosting, and evaluating the effectiveness of events against business objectives.
• Utilizing sourcing tools to pipeline and connect with candidates with a focus on passive, external candidate generation and delivery of high-volume sourcing.
• Building talent pipelines for critical skills, cleared talent, and diverse populations through online sourcing, events, and sourcing campaigns.
• Mapping out potential markets to understand where external talent pools exist and working collaboratively with the TA team to execute on diversity sourcing initiatives to tap into those talent pools.
• Using social media platforms to build Northrop Grumman brand awareness.
• Creating detailed sourcing plans that include timelines, roles and responsibilities, and sourcing metrics.
• Analyzing and utilizing data to produce improved ROI for candidate engagement activities.
• Conducting candidate screens and subsequent delivery of relevant candidate information for consumption by Recruiters and Hiring Managers.
• Building strong partnerships with Recruiters and Stakeholders within the business where they are engaged.
• Gaining a clear understanding of the relevant organizational structure and business products within the Launch & Missile Defense Solutions business.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of sourcing and/or recruiting experience – OR – a Master’s degree with 3+ year of sourcing and/or recruiting experience. An additional four years’ experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of sourcing and/or recruiting experience – OR – a Master’s degree with 7+ year of sourcing and/or recruiting experience. An additional four years’ experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

Additional Basic qualifications for both levels:

• Research/Sourcing experience (preferably within a corporate environment).
• Experience sourcing technical and cleared talent.
• Experience with internet sourcing tools and techniques (to include LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, SeekOut, and similar tools).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong professional working relationships with internal customers.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability for occasional domestic travel to assist with events and in support of the business.
• US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Aerospace/defense industry recruiting experience.
• Event Planning experience within a recruiting environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work well with metrics, numbers and trends.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with Avature, Workday and M365.

This position reports to Fairfax, VA, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 4 locations listed above.

Salary Range: $72,400 USD – $125,800 USD

Salary Range 2: $89,800 USD – $155,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
