At the Space Sector of Northrop Grumman, we are launching careers into orbit. In this role, you will be developing the hiring strategy and leading a team of recruiters responsible for capturing engineering and technical talent responsible for designing, operating, crafting and launching satellite and remote sensing capabilities. Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to support the Payload and Ground recruiting team. This position will ideally be based in the San Diego, CA Azusa , CA or Redondo Beach, CA locations but may be available for remote work. Talent Acquisition Manager Responsibilities would include: Recommends and implements talent acquisition strategies as a highly influential talent advisor Mentors, coaches, develops, and engages high performing recruiting team Thrives in a fast paced, results-driven environment while modeling Northrop Grumman’s Leadership characteristics Builds collaborative partnerships with customers and business partners within large and complex organizations Develop operational efficiencies to streamline recruiting initiatives Works with the Talent Acquisition Director and consults with key stakeholders to identify talent strategies necessary to align with the goals of the business Develops and executes cleared talent strategies providing expertise in areas of strategic sourcing and market intelligence Leverages data analytics and metrics to maximize productivity and optimize results of the recruiting team Builds deep relationships with our HR Business partners to improve talent outcomes Partners with corporate colleagues to strategically align sector resources and leverages partnership both internally and externally Ensures staffing policies and procedures are followed in compliance with government regulatory requirements Basic Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree and at least 6 of years of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or related experience OR a master’s degree and at least 4 years of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or related experience Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects to completion. Experience leading initiatives, events, or sourcing strategies, etc Demonstrated project management experience – Ability to organize, prioritize, plan, schedule, and follow up on concurrent tasks while elevating issues as needed Understanding of an applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday Preferred Qualifications: Full life cycle recruiting process experience, to include comprehensive understanding of compliance with OFCCP Experience leading diverse teams Experience recruiting in the A&D industry, specifically Space Project management experience PHR/SPHR certification Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
