Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services (ES) is seeking candidates for an Sr. Billing Accountant role in Falls Church, VA. The selected individual will play a key role in supporting Manager of Restricted Accounting, working with billing organizations in support of contract billings and subcontract/contract closeouts. Provide team leadership and coaching support to oversee daily operations, special projects and task assigned. Prepare, review and approve submission of contract billings. Compile and analyze financial information for invoice processing, to record transactions, and review and verify accuracy. Support internal/external customers for subcontract/contract closeouts. Support miscellaneous AR reporting and resolution of billing/payment issues. Support banking and treasury requirements, cash disbursements and bank reconciliations. Ensure strong internal/external customer support and DCAA audit support as needed. Candidate must be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and should have strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:•Team leadership and coaching•Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards•Preparation, review, and submissions of contract billings•Miscellaneous AR reporting and resolution of billing/payment issues•Cash Disbursements and bank reconciliations•Contract/subcontract closeouts•DCAA incurred cost and billing audit support•Internal/External customer support•Special projects as neededBasic Qualifications:•Master’s degree in Business, Accounting or a related field with 8 years of related experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or a related field with 10 years of related experience; OR an Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting with 12 years of related experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 14 years of related experience•Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills•Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)•Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines•Requires active TS/SCI clearancePreferred Qualifications:•Accounting and/or billing experience in government contracting environment•Experience leading teams

Salary Range: 94200 – 141400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
