Since 2001, Northrop Grumman has delivered Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force’s 86 Wing; 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. The high-performing Northrop Grumman SPA (Special Purpose Aircraft) team is comprised of approximately 50 staff who provide all levels of maintenance, training and logistics support to the fleet of 2x Boeing BBJ’s and 3x Dassault Falcon 7X’s.

We are seeking a Program Finance Analyst (SAP) to support the SPA business management team. Working closely with the business manager, this role will play a pivotal role with the test and implementation of the new SAP S4 HANA system which has an expected go-live of January 2022.

This position is based on-site co-located at 34 Squadron, Fairbairn, ACT.

This position is fixed-term for 12 months.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation, testing and uptake of the new ERP system within the SPA Program. This includes process mapping, documentation and training of end users

• Assist with ensuring continuity of existing financial processes and deliverables such as invoicing, internal and external reporting

• Oversee the changeover of accounts receivable and invoicing process to new ERP system, which includes checking of GL entries and general integrity of data

• Assist with the development of new reporting solutions to retract system data to allow Program Business Manager meet all reporting deliverables

• Oversee and cross check all reporting deliverables to ensure integrity of system data

• Provide super user support for SPA team

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Business or Accounting Degree qualified (or studying towards)

• Advanced skills across MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and hands on experience with ERP systems and finance tools (SAP experience is mandatory)

• Ability to analyse large volumes of information and interpret financial data including profit and loss and balance sheet analysis

• Forecasting and reporting experience

• Good negotiation skills, influencing and stakeholder management backed up by highly developed written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• CPA/CA Qualification
