Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking qualified candidates for an Accountant 3 role.

This role is not location specific and can be supported virtually.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate the month end, quarter, and year end accounting close requirements
• Prepare and review journal entries
• Prepare and validate month end financial statements and disclosures
• Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy
• Analyze monthly trial balances
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items for owned accounts
• Perform intercompany accounting to include Focus Country and PME Billings
• Assist General Accounting and International Accounting team members as needed with a variety of Accounting tasks
• Work effectively with geographically dispersed team and customer.
• Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports
• Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures.
• Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards
• Full knowledge of industry practices
• Independently demonstrate the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks
• Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems – may refer to established precedents and policies
• Perform fairly complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment
• Plan schedules and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives
• Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Represent organization as a prime contact on projects
• Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• May develop and deliver presentations.

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, abilities and requirements listed below:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with at least 6 years’ of relevant experience or a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 4 years’ of relevant experience
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in Data Analytics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Experience supporting and working within a team virtually

Salary Range: 69300 – 103900

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
