Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Composite Manufacturing Software Engineer / Principal Software Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position will be located in Clearfield, UT . You will be part of an Integrated Product Team supporting production by creating manufacturing software using 3D model based definition.
Responsibilities :
Our team enjoys a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaboration across all levels.
We work independently but interact constantly with other engineering groups and manufacturing to achieve expectations. We’re empowered to make decisions, but can draw upon corporate resources to support us when needed.
Each member of the team is tasked with identifying ways to improve efficiency in the team in the pursuit of continuous improvement.
We’re looking for a fellow self-starter who enjoys assessing and understanding risk to join us.
This role is day shift with occasional off hour support. Travel is estimated to be less than 5%. This team adheres to our customers’ work schedule.

This role may be filled at an Engineer Software or Principal Engineer Software level based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications :
Software Engineer
Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 2 years of related work experience;
or a Masters Degree in a STEM discipline.
Principal Software Engineer
Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 5 years of related work experience;
or a Masters Degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of related work experience; or a PhD in a STEM discipline.

Salary Range : $73,400 – $110,000
Salary Range 2 : $90,400 – $135,600
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
