Northrop Grumman is seeking a Associate Propulsion Engineer or Propulsion Engineer. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Chandler, AZ.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Launch Vehicles Business Unit.
Job Description:
The Propulsion Engineer will perform a wide range of duties associated with the design, analysis, procurement, test, and integration of propulsion related hardware for use on launch vehicle platforms. Propulsion subsystems may include ordnance, pneumatics, hydraulic, solid rocket motor, liquid engine, and liquid propellant systems. Candidate will be responsible for product or subsystem management, including resolving technical issues, scheduling of production and test activities, and working through potential conflicts with suppliers. The ideal Candidate for this role will be one who is comfortable working on a variety of problems across a range of hardware subsystems.
