Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate EHS Engineer/ EHS Engineer. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Dulles, VA or Gilbert, AZ.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Tactical Space Division.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Interprets, recommends, and complies with environmental, health and safety regulations and/or company policies. Assists in planning for changes in physical facilities to meet new environmental requirements. Finds, evaluates, and prepares contracts for properly licensed hazardous and radioactive waste disposal firms and monitors waste handling. Organizes and equips spill-control teams. Writes and updates environmental and spill-control manuals and procedures. Prepares environmental impact statements and applies for all new permits and renewals. Provides input to federal and state regulators through trade associations and industry groups for the writing and revision of regulations.

Basic Qualifications for an Associate EHS Engineer:

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile).
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Basic Qualifications for a EHS Engineer:

63,800.00- 95,800.00

Pay Range for Mission Assurance Engineer in Dulles, VA

77,100.00 -115,700.00

Pay Range for Associate EHS Engineer in Dulles, VA

55,100.00- 82,700.00

Pay Range for Mission Assurance Engineer in Dulles, VA

66,600.00- 99,800.00Campus jobs

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
