Northpoint Engineering, LLC is a well-established Civil Engineering, Land Planning, and Environmental Consulting firm located in Concord, NH. We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team and to work on a variety of civil engineering design and construction projects.

We offer consulting engineering services to commercial and residential developers, and to municipalities and institutions throughout New Hampshire. About the Position – Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist with civil/site engineering design projects: site layout and design; grading & drainage design; utility design; stormwater management design; erosion control design; roadway design; hydrologic and hydraulic analysis;
• Assist with local, state and federal permitting, including assisting with coordination of applications to regulatory authorities;
• Prepare Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP);
• Field reconnaissance and documentation using digital media;
• Perform construction monitoring/inspections, including preparation;
• Perform SWPPP and Erosion Control Inspections, including preparation;
• Construction estimating (quantities and cost);
• Assist with the preparation of bid documents, construction documents and specifications;
• Review and process shop drawings and contractor submittals;
• Attend professional development and career advancement training as approved;
• Computer software utilization will include: AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel);

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• AutoCAD experience, with CIVIL 3D, preferred
• Experience with construction monitoring/inspections, preferred
• Hydrology/Stormwater modelling experience , preferred

Qualifications:

• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination, preferred
• BS in Civil Engineering (or related field), preferred
• 2+ years of experience
• Experience with construction monitoring/inspections, preferred
• Have a reliable personal vehicle for use during working hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
