The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of our recruitment process to include;

• Meets with department leaders to discuss and understand the scope of the job they are recruiting for. Reviews and updates the job description for accuracy. Posts job internally and externally.
• Writes recruitment ads, reviews resumes and chooses the best candidates to conducts initial interviews with.
• Administers pre hire assessments, runs background and reference checks.
• Prepares candidates’ portfolios and presents for a final interviews with department managers.
• Will also be responsible for extending employment offers, and begin the pre-employment process to include building new hires in UKG – Ulti Pro.
• Prepares and presents new hire orientations and introduction to the company.

Beyond the recruitment and interview process the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be involved with the Applicant Tracking process, Affirmative Action compliance, I9 Everify program. Will also maintain the company’s referral program.

Our ideal candidate must possess excellent interviewing skills, and have knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

Will have the ability to utilize multiple resources when placing recruitment ads on the internet, and establishes relationships with colleges for internship programs. Will represent and attend the company at career/job fairs.

Ability to establish a rapport with outside recruiting agencies to fill direct placement, temporary and temp to perm positions.

Strong computer skills in MS office, UKG and Applicant Tracking Programs is a plus!

Have the the ability to uphold confidentiality and present oneself in a professional manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Ability to have strong organizational skills and strong multi tasking skills.
