Social Futures are expanding their Finance team and is actively searching for a Finance Officer. This is a newly created, full-time fixed term position based at our Lismore office commencing in May 2022.

The Position

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly finance reports
• Completing end to end accounts payable processing
• Preparing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Completing end to end payroll processing
• Assisting with accounts receivable
• Assisting in the annual audit and acquittal process
• Responding to email enquiries

The successful applicant will have a high attention to detail and be able to focus on various tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will have demonstrated experience within a finance capacity, competency in Microsoft Excel and a strong work ethic.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualifications in Business or Accounting
• Sound understanding of accounting processes
• SAGE Intacct or experience in a similar financial accounting application
• EmpowerHR or experience in a similar HRIS application (desirable)
