Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not for profit In Home Care Child Care Service servicing the Northern Rivers area and Gold Coast.

We have family in Varsity Lakes that is requiring afternoon care for 1 children who is 3 years old. The role does include day care pick up so a reliable and registered car is required.

Days and Hours:

Week 1

Tuesday 4.30pm to 7.30pm

Week 2

Wednesday and Thursday 4.30pm to 7.30pm

Start date:

ASAP

Hourly rate:
$33.00 per hour includes Superannuation (negotiable)

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Build nuturing and positive relationships with the family and children
• Afterschool pick up

Northern Rivers IHC does not charge new or existing IHC Educators any registration fees. However, we do provide Educators with outstanding support, with many services and materials free of charge, including:

• All relevant and necessary information to fulfill their role as an IHC Educator.
• Regular visits from an IHC Manager who is qualified to assist them with all aspects of the care and education of young children
• Newsletters, forms, checklists, policies, procedures, and resource ideas to assist them in their role as an Educator
• Exciting and information playgroup sessions as well as access to an extensive range of toys and resources from our free toy library
• Processing of weekly attendance records and deposit of CCS payments electronically into their bank account
• Harmony Web Training
• Access to free professional development

Qualifications and Criteria required:

• Certificate III in Children’s Services or working towards (min 2 years experience)
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate – Childcare First Aid Training HLTAID0011 and HLTAID009
• Covid-19 vaccination (double dose)
• Blue Card and Police Clearance
• Liability insurance (once successfully placed with a family approx. $43.00 per month)
• Medical Clearance
• Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)
• ABN (this role is for a self employed/contractor)
• Photo ID
• PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)
• MUST HAVE A RELIABLE CAR AND DRIVERS LICENCE
