Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not for profit In Home Care Child Care Service servicing the Northern Rivers area and Gold Coast.

We have a family in Nunderi NSW that has four children.

Overview of family:

Both parents live with their children (1y/o), (3y/o), (5y/o) and (7y/o). Both parents are required to work non-standard and varied hours shift work roster 24/7.

Days and Times required:

Example of shifts

Monday – 6am to 6pm

Friday – 7pm to 11pm

(Flexible)

Hourly rate:

$32/33.00 per hour (inclusive Superannuation)

The role will be to provide:

Early childhood education and care that is stage and interest appropriate. Educator to focus on morning routines including facilitating school drop off/pick up where necessary. Educator to provide fun activities while ensuring safety.

Criteria:

All our Educators are engaged as Independent Contractors are required to have the following :

• Min. Certificate III in Children’s Services or higher (or working towards)
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• WWCC and Police Clearance
• PRODA RA
• Liability Insurance
• Medical Clearance
• Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)
• ABN
• Photo ID
• 2 child care references
• Reliable car

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $32.00 – $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Murwillumbah NSW 2484: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Licence/Certification:

• Cert III in Child Care (Preferred)
• Current First Aid and CPR for the Education and Care Setting (Preferred)
• Working with Children Check (Preferred)
• Police Clearance (Preferred)
• Current Child Protection (Preferred)
• ABN (Preferred)
• PRODA we can assist with this (Preferred)
