Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not for profit In Home Care Child Care Service servicing the Northern Rivers area and Gold Coast.

We have a family in Evans Head, NSW that has two children (7y/o) and (5y/o). Both children attend Primary School. The family is a shift worker and has consistent days of work. Shift times will change working both non-standard and varied hours, roster is typically provided 1 month in advance. The family does not require care on weekends or public holidays.

Days and Times required:

Days could be Wednesday, Thursday or Friday

Shift is generally 3pm to 8/9pm

Hourly rate:

$30.00/$32.00 per hour (inclusive Superannuation)

The role will be to provide:

Early childhood education and care that is stage and interest appropriate. Educator to focus on morning, afternoon and evening routines including facilitating school pick up and drop off where necessary. Educator to provide fun activities while ensuring safety.

Criteria:

All our Educators are engaged as Independent Contractors are required to have the following :

• Min. Certificate III in Children’s Services or higher (or working towards)
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• WWCC and Police Clearance
• PRODA RA
• Liability Insurance
• Medical Clearance
• Covid-19 Vaccination (double dose)
• Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)
• ABN
• Photo ID
• 2 child care references
• Reliable car

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $30.00 per hour
