Northeast Spine and Wellness Center Hiring for Medical Front Desk Receptionist at Clark, NJ Full Time

We are seeking an individual able to work approx 3 days a week from 8am-1pm or 2pm-7pm at our Multidisciplinary Office in Clark.

Medical Receptionist Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer and screen phone calls for all staff
• Assist patients with intake paperwork
• Collecting copayments
• Greet patients and guests
• Input demographic information and visit outcomes into our EHR to meet government program requirements, as instructed
• Maintain HIPAA and other regulatory compliance when disclosing patient information, in-person and otherwise
• Obtain missing referrals for patients
• Provide forms to patients for completion
• Register new patients in our software
• Review patient forms for completeness
• Scan insurance cards and photo IDs into our software
• Schedule, Re-Schedule, and Cancel Appointments
• Send messages to appropriate staff for clinical questions / concerns
• Update patient demographics, as needed

Medical Receptionist Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Ability to work at a moderate-to-fast pace
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records software WEB PT/Caretracker a PLUS
• Great organization skills
• Experience working in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Insurances, Referrals, etc… is also strongly preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour
