An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR & People Advisor to join North Yorkshire Hospice Care. This role will support the HR & People Manager and the wider HR & People Team to provide a complete and comprehensive HR service to North Yorkshire Hospice Care.

The HR Advisor will support and lead on all aspects of recruitment and employee relations, including proactively coaching line managers; providing advice and guidance on employment law and HR best practice; and ensuring the HR & People function is utilising technology that enables HR to work smarter and more efficiently.

This role will support the Head of HR & People in reshaping the HR service through reviewing and updating policies and delivering HR projects, with the aim of developing a great workforce and volunteering experience, whilst ensuring a high-quality support service is achieved.

We are looking for a driven, calm, and confident individual with a natural ability to work collaboratively. The role requires an experienced people professional with excellent communication skills and up to date knowledge of HR best practice and employment law. Project management skills and recruitment experience are desirable.
