Summary of Position:

The Talent Acquisition professional will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and interviewing great candidates to hire and join our team. A successful recruiter will collaborate with leadership on a regular basis to understand hiring needs and support the field in staffing and filling open positions, as well as proactively identify and build a pipeline of talented candidates for future positions.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Recruit for positions in multiple states; CA, WA, OR, TX
• Source and recruit candidates by using traditional job postings, databases, social media, trade specific job boards, etc.
• Think outside the box for creative and effective recruiting methods to fill positions in a highly competitive job market.
• Assess candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Create job descriptions and post jobs.
• Comply with all Federal and State labor employment laws and regulations
• Promote company’s reputation and brand as “best place to work”.
• Conduct interviews, set interviews for leadership as needed, applicant and candidate tracking.
• Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, job fair events, colleges, employment agencies, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (include but are not limited to):

• 2-5 years proven experience and success in recruiting.
• Prior knowledge and experience in construction and or telecommunications a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews.
• Strong understanding of Federal and State labor laws and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft and Google Business Applications (Excel, Smartsheets and Googlesheets)

Essential Physical Requirements (include but are not limited to):

• Standard office environment requiring sitting at desk with some bending, stooping, walking
• Standard field visits requiring bending, stooping, and walking
• Hours/Schedules are determined based on Region and Customer Needs and in compliance with any regulations; on average – must be able to perform the above for at least 8 hours per day 5 days per week.
