We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team sat The Heathman Lodge. As our Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent facility condition and guest satisfaction through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.

In this role, you will :

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems according to manufacturers’ specifications
• Inspect equipment daily and make adjustments to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose issues and make repairs to resolve maintenance requests in guest rooms and public spaces
• Communicate supply and project status clearly to supervisor
• Maintain interior and exterior building appearance through janitorial, landscaping, and repair tasks
• Adhere to all work order and maintenance policies and procedures
• Foster positive relationships with other departments to enable smooth resort operations

Requirements :

• 2+ years of experience in building maintenance and repair, ideally in a hotel or resort setting
• Solid working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
• Strong preventative maintenance background
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and professionalism
