A small team, we are dedicated and progressive, and we play a critical role in the continued transformation of the council. We do this by working effectively with our colleagues across the organisation to provide accurate, reliable, and timely research and analysis to support council wide people management decision making. We need to increase the size of our team so that we can build capacity and resilience, so that we can do more of the high value high impact work which supports the aspirations of our organisation.
The role:
As an HR and OD Business Support Officer you will play a key role in supporting our team. You will be responsible for administrative tasks including, document management, drafting communications, diary management and supporting meetings. You’ll undertake research and surveys and help keep our projects on track. You’ll also be responsible for the admin of our employee benefits and record keeping for job evaluation and key officer decisions.
The candidate:
You will have excellent IT skills that will include Microsoft Office and you’ll be highly organised with really good attention to detail. You don’t need qualifications to do this job, but you do need to be hard working, pro-active and be able to operate at a fast pace.
