WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Summary

Responsible for supporting an operational cluster to define, deliver, follow-up, and remediate any training and development needs within that cluster. This role will serve as a leadership development specialist through facilitation of leadership development curriculum to include the training and development of all leaders. Leads in-person virtual workshop facilitation, participant coaching and the development of training plans for new health campuses.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with SVP, DVP, and campus leaders within a defined cluster to manage all training needs
• Partner with other cluster support roles to identify gaps, needs, and best practices relating to training, recruiting, and scheduling
• Deliver in person and virtual training and coaching to best support the campuses within defined cluster
• Collaborate with the Training and Development Content Team to create/update training materials
• Ensure detailed tracking of training completions for all employees supported within defined cluster – this includes and is not limited to LMS tracked training sessions
• Facilitates instructor-led leadership courses through the application of a variety of techniques such as simulations, team exercises, group discussions and multi-media tools.
• Builds on-boarding training plans for new health campuses, including coordination with other trainers to deliver clinical, leadership and customer-service focused trainings for new hires.
• Integrates training with diverse, real-world business-specific situations in order to drive learning outcomes.
• Facilitates individual and group coaching, professional growth and leadership acumen training.
• Delivers training initiatives to multiple levels of audiences within the organization to include campus employees to senior leadership.
• Analyzes, designs and implements new technologies to facilitate and improve teaching/learning outcomes.
• Actively participates in and supports the ongoing development of a servant leadership culture that strives to achieve the highest ethical standards by conducting all training with a dedicated commitment to customer service.
• Demonstrates consultative approach to designing and delivering solutions for building leadership and team needs.
• Facilitates course offerings in multiple locations/states throughout the company.
• Assists with and supports department and company goals and objectives.
• Conserves resources by adhering to financial stewardship using prudent judgment related to expense(s) incurred by the Company.
• Significant travel including overnight stay as necessary.
• Meets Expectations of Excellence for position.

• Theories and practices of training and organizational development, instructional design and adult learning.
• Laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to the long-term care industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a focus on human resources, organizational development, psychology, or healthcare or related field. Training -related professional certification a plus.

Experience:

• Five (5) to seven (7) years training and development, leadership development and leadership experience. Healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment preferred.
• Delivering through virtual classroom tools.
• Utilizing assessment and development tools such as the Predictive Index and DISC personality profile a plus.
• Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
