North Devon Homes Hiring for Development Accountant Job at Barnstaple, England Full Time

This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in supporting the development targets that have been agreed for the next three years and beyond. As well as financial reporting on affordable homes projects, you will have responsibility for the commercial subsidiary financial and management accounting and reporting framework, including preparation of the annual financial statements.

You will ensure that Finance and Development project records are reconciled and up to date; a control framework is promoted and maintained and that budget and cashflow variances are analysed and reported promptly.

We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, is able to understand and report on multiple projects and who can work and communicate effectively with people on all levels. You will be required to offer solutions to complex problems, have a continuous improvement ethos and able to deliver against agreed timescales.

You must be qualified to ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent and have a minimum of three years recent experience in an accounting or financial environment. You will have experience in dealing with complex data and providing detailed analysis and reports at Board level.
