We are currently searching for a Talent Acquisition specialist to work within our People Division and make a tangible difference to North Bristol NHS Trust.

Within this autonomous role, you’ll pick up a varied and interesting workload: spanning events, marketing, recruitment campaigns, and project management. One day, you may be crafting a schedule to ensure efficient project management, and the next; you may be meeting with managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process for the candidate of their choice.

Our ideal candidate would be capable of taking decisions on difficult and contentious issues where there may be a number of courses of action. We’ll be particularly impressed if they hold an ability to anticipate and resolve problems before they arise or become critical.

An excellent understanding of recruitment advertising techniques, including the use of social media, and ability to effortlessly project manage, would be beneficial to this role.

This role is based at Southmead Hospital, however we can offer some flexibility around home working if needed. The successful applicant will also need to be able to attend recruitment activities around the Bristol area and beyond from time to time.

What we are looking for in our successful candidate:

• Experience of planning and coordinating events.
• Experience of stakeholder management.
• Experience and knowledge of internal and external communication practices within a large organisation, ideally the public sector.
• Experience and knowledge of effective digital recruitment marketing.
• Experience and confidence in managing social media platforms and producing digital recruitment marketing content.
• Knowledge of the competitive healthcare recruitment marketing and experience within candidate management.
• Good writing and proof reading skills with the ability to distil complex information and tailor to the relevant audience.
• Experience and knowledge of the how the NHS operates and the services it provides would be desirable.

• Manage and deliver projects with external suppliers, ensuring cost-effective, efficient content or recruitment campaigns are delivered.
• Plan and manage Trust-wide recruitment events, open days, and careers evenings in relation to nursing, midwifery and ODP recruitment.
• Take a lead role in the development, implementation and management of digital recruitment communications across the Trust’s external channels.
• Lead with booking and management of University Student Recruitment Events
• Work collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition Team to manage agency queries, manage agency candidates, arrange or reschedule digital or face to face interviews when required.
• Work collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition Team on event days, scheduling interviews, advising candidates, organising clinical staff, facilitating feedback groups or candidate discussions on improvements.
• Support with Stakeholder Management meetings when required.
• Manage and update intranet and web content as and when required by TA Team, Internal Stakeholders, and when guided by bespoke and Trust-wide recruitment campaigns.
• Ensure nursing recruitment marketing matches NBT’s culture, mission, vision and values.
• Help to maintain the Trust’s corporate identity through use of the brand guidelines and ensure that these are correctly deployed through all of our communications.
