North American Roofing Hiring for Talent Acquisition Manager at Tampa, US Full Time

North American Roofing Services was established 40+ years ago with a mission to provide quality commercial and industrial roofing services to customers through innovative engineered solutions and exceptional customer service.

Servicing national clients, we provide commercial repair and maintenance services along with new and re-roof installations across the US.

We are currently searching for a Talent Acquisition Manager who will m anage the strategy, approach and techniques used in our full cycle sourcing, recruiting, and employee onboarding while creating an engaging work culture for the NARS Team.

Responsibilities :

Workforce Planning and Recruitment

• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine selection criteria.
• Serve as brand ambassador in the marketplace by supporting and championing the Company’s recruitment branding strategy to effectively attract qualified candidates by building awareness and promoting localized recruiting efforts through social media channels and other mean.
• Utilize sourcing techniques as well as applications submitted through applicant tracking software to find the best talent for our roles.
• Leading, managing, and developing the recruitment team. Holding 1 : 1 calls / meetings as well as departmental meetings.
• Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
• Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System.
• Review, oversee and manage onboarding systems and processes from offer to new hire orientation with a smooth handoff to HR and hiring manager.
• Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
• Determine direction and value of attending job fairs and recruitment events. May attend if needed.
• Forecast weekly hiring needs with department and allocate recruiting assignments among the recruiting team members.
• Analyze and track recruiting numbers to drive filled positions.
• Analyze turnover and overtime trends to identify patterns and predict hiring needs
• Advise and make decisions around candidate selection protocols throughout hiring life cycle.
• Partner with field management and outside recruiting resources to optimize processes and continuously improve the candidate experience throughout the hiring life cycle.
• Partner with local teams to develop sourcing strategies to support hard-to-hire area and roles and increase brand recognition.
• Support onboarding and mentoring programs to ensure new hires are quickly acclimated and productive.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6+ years strong recruitment experience required; with a focus on high volume recruiting of hourly paid workers and a variety of exempt and non-exempt level positions.
• 3+ years managing recruiting team and resources.
• Experience recruiting in the roofing or construction industries, preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with work colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS systems required.
• Experience with best practices for utilizing social media for recruiting purposes.
• Experience with compliant background screening protocols, including adverse action adjudication

Working Conditions :

Work is performed in a hybrid / remote, general office environment. Repetitive bending and stooping with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds is required.

Repetitive finger / hand / forearm motion necessary for completing data entry. Ability to manipulate keyboards, telephone keypads and copy equipment essential.

Talking and listening required for answering telephones and conversing personally with customers and staff. Multiple consecutive hours working on a computer and viewing data on a computer screen.
