The Location

Conveniently located north Madison just 1 minute off I-39 north of Madison, WI, NAMI in Windsor, WI. Our wide-open office design is ideal for concentration and collaboration and supports a culture where we work together to make good things happen for our clients, employees, and the community. The Position

The Talent Acquisition and Development Partner is a critical role reporting to NAMI’s Chief Financial Officer. This is an amazing opportunity for the selected candidate to invigorate NAMI’s Talent Acquisition process. Your role begins with understanding the current talent landscape and devising methodologies to drive improvement in the recruitment process. The unique talents that you bring to the position will allow you to enhance NAMI’s recruitment brand, attract and retain outstanding employees, and help sustain our people-focused employee relations climate. You will also help build critical metrics to accurately assess and improve talent acquisition and employee retention outcomes.

But there is more. You will also focus on the development of critical skill sets for our talented employees. In doing so, you will collaborate with leadership to design career paths that provide growth opportunities for our employees. You will work with internal SMEs to identify critical employee development needs and help to define and implement training plans. It will be your responsibility to balance existing resources and quality eLearning vendors and build the best learning experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Evaluating and improving the full cycle talent acquisition process. Identifying hiring cycle compression opportunities and implementing improvement measures.
• Growing, strengthening, and improving the NAMI recruitment brand. Projecting our reputation as an employer of choice to the marketplace.
• Establishing and/or updating key metrics to assess current performance and baseline recruitment and retention improvement objectives.
• Conducting full cycle recruiting for open roles throughout NAMI.
• Improving onboarding processes to integrate new employees to NAMI seamlessly and professionally.
• Improving reporting mechanisms to apprise hiring managers on the status for open roles.
• Identifying future organizational needs, individual career goals, and helping to design internal career paths.
• Meeting with internal SMEs to build employee development plans and learning content.
• Evaluating learning tools and methodologies to deliver content in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Assessing current learning tools and content. Investigating new tools to improve the delivery quality and cost of learning. Trumpeting current results to drive internal growth and increase community impact.
• Developing employee communications to promote career growth opportunities and trumpet internal promotions internally.
• Leading by example, sharing information, practicing the Golden Rule, and respecting all.
• All other duties requested by immediate manager.

Bring Your Best

• Bachelor’s in business administration, Human Resources or related from an accredited institution.
• Three or more years of progressive talent acquisition experience. One or more year experience in training and/or talent development.
• Strong communications skills, including verbal, written and visual.
• Confidence to interact with all levels of employees throughout NAMI.
• Ability to work effectively on independent and collaborative levels.
• Ability to translate ideas into actions.
• Strong follow-through capability and a demonstrated history of accuracy in completed work.
• Strong computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• An important level of integrity and professional discretion. Demonstrated ability to foster a healthy and positive workplace culture.
• Proven capacity to appropriately manage sensitive and confidential information and situations.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
