The Home Health Aide is a vital part of the Parx Home Care team, providing compassionate care and support to patients with various medical conditions. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with mobility and transfer tasks, ensuring patient safety at all times
• Help with meal preparation and feeding, as well as provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for the patient
• Observe and changes in the patient’s condition to the nurse or supervisor
• Maintain accurate patient documentation, including daily activities and progress
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Home Health Aide (75 hour course certificate)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Must have a current CPR certification
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements
• Must have a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and their families
