We’re looking to recruit a Programme Manager to join our Bucksmore Education division.

As UK Programme Manager, you’ll be overseeing the Bucksmore Education summer programmes across the UK. Outside of the peak summer period, you will review information from previous summers to produce timetables, procedures and policies and ensure all summer programmes are set up in time for the arrival of summer centre staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring summer centres are set up and all operational bookings for the entire programme are in place for the arrival of the summer staff teams. Direct programme management of and responsibility for assigned summer centres
• Liaising with host colleges to produce timetables and operational overviews for all centres
• Building relationships with existing suppliers and resource suppliers for new centres
• Taking the lead on risk assessments and ensure all student welfare procedures are best practice
• Reviewing staffing numbers and requirements on a regular basis with the Operations Director and Recruitment Manager. This includes interviewing and selecting Activity Managers, plus the recruitment of other summer staff including specialist workshop providers
• Ensuring all centres are adequately resourced with materials, sports equipment, uniforms, stationery, computer hardware etc
• Providing support for all summer school centre management staff during the summer period and ensure all documentation for centre managers and staff is up to date.
• Preparing for the British Council inspection with particular responsibility for student welfare and student leisure programmes
• Managing the operations for any closed group programmes, and take the lead on contacting colleges and accommodation services.
• Ensure all welfare folders and risk assessments are up to date
