FINANCE SYSTEMS ASSISTANT MANAGER
Location: Central London

Nord Anglia Education are looking for a Finance Systems Assistant Manager to be a BAU support role for the Finance systems including OneStream and MS Dynamics Nav. This role provides support to the Finance Systems Manager whilst a number of development projects are ongoing.

The Role:

• Support the parallel run / UAT and transition into BAU
• Support the Finance Systems manager with any system development for the planning and forecasting project.
• Translating technical terminologies and discussions to end-user friendly languages
• Understand financial reporting and consolidation.
• Provide support to Group Finance teams on the use of MS Navision system
• Administer user menus security and parameter files including ensuring the accounting calendar is defined and controlled appropriately
• Provide training to users as and when require.
• Administer use of the system within Group for financial consolidation and reporting
• Manage the FDMEE table which drives the mapping between GL and the new system and assist on maintenance and governance of the Group’s Chart of Accounts.
• Represent finance and work closely with IT and external vendors when resolving system issues
• Creation of new reports, new GLs, new entities etc
• Assist the Finance Systems Manager in adding additional functionality and information sources to the system as and when required by finance.
• Proactively identify, manage and roll out new functionality
• Develop and manage data upload templates/ links for regular KPI reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain monthly foreign exchange rate inputs and ensure data accuracy the systems
• Identify opportunities to automate the production of regular reporting dashboards
• Provide ad-hoc assistance to the Group Finance team.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

• Experience of administration of Hyperion / OneStream
• Knowledge of VBA
• Knowledge of HFM and/or OneStream including rules, maintenance and reporting.
• Knowledge of SQL (Query level)
• System implementations and process improvement
• Data warehousing and database management
• Data migration and roll out of new systems
• Financial and Management reporting / Financial Modelling experience
• An aptitude towards systems and IT
