Accounts Assistant – Flexible hours

We require the talent and commitment of an Accounts Assistant to support the team in the following areas:

Key Duties

• Review of daily receipts and journal processing

• Account reconciliation

• Checking and verifying invoices

• Entering invoices into the accounts payable system

• Processing payments

• Maintaining supplier records

• Providing assistance and backup to other finance team members

Working as a key member of the team you will assist by performing multiple duties related to the accounting function of the company within established deadlines. You will be part of the accounting cycle with the outcome being the timely and accurate preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements whilst providing support to all levels of the business in related areas.

The Candidate will need to meet the following minimum criteria:

• Solid general experience in bookkeeping / accounting
• Have a good working knowledge of double-entry accounting
• Demonstrate attention to detail
• Display excellent communication skills.
