Nonprofit Hiring for Accounting Assistant Job at Stateline, NV Full Time

Accounting Assistant

Part-Time (16 hours/week… either in 4 hour shifts or 8 hour shifts)

$20/hour

This is an in-person job only, remote work is not a possibility

General Tasks:

Prepare invoices for internal and external customers

Follow up with statements, reminders, phone calls

Process invoices

Process sales: retail, credit card, online

Process petty cash reimbursements and reconciliations

Assist Accounting Manager with annual audits, research, filing, bank deposits and other projects

Run errands in town to acquire signatures from Board Members

Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to handle tasks for multiple organizations accurately and timely

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience with Quickbooks is a plus

Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with co-workers and management
