Job Description:

We’re on the lookout for meticulous and motivated Packaging Technicians to join our team. As a Packaging Technician, your primary responsibility will be to prepare items for shipments, ensuring that every package that leaves the warehouse is properly packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Package products for shipment by following precise packaging protocols
• Verify items to be shipped against work orders to ensure accuracy
• Prepare shipping documents and mailing labels
• Ensure that shipped items are packaged correctly and securely to prevent damage during transport
• Arrange for courier or postal services to pick up shipments
• Maintain accurate records of packages sent
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods
• Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped, and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Packaging Technician or similar role
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
