THE ROLE*
The Finance Assistant is responsible for the day to day processing of all invoices; ensuring correct approvals and sign offs have been granted. Your tasks as Accounts Payable will include but will not be limited to:

• To assist the Director of Finance and Financial Controller with the processing of all incoming invoices and expenditures including purchase orders, invoices and statements.
• To compare purchase orders to invoices to ensure there are no discrepancies and then distribute to relevant departments for approval.
• Audit bills for errors and correct as necessary.
• Reconciliation of all statements; requesting missing invoices and making adjustments where necessary.
• Prepare all appropriate period closing reports and entries.
• Maintains up-to-date Accounts Payable records and reconciles monthly all Accounts Payable ledgers (i.e. Trade suppliers, accruals, prepaid etc.) against General Ledger.
• Ensure compliance within USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry) standards.
• To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as someone who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 year experience in an accounting role.
• Good knowledge of accounting system SAP.
