They invest in world-class automation and technical expertise, ensuring speed to market and outstanding results. They now need a hands-on and commercially focused finance professional to partner the Managing Director and lead a small and capable team.
Leading and developing an experienced team of three, key tasks shall include:
  • Providing core management and board financial reports as part of the leadership team
  • Owning the general ledger and managing compliance obligations
  • Working with external advisors for core tax and audit purposes
  • Cash flow management; banking, forecasting and risk management
  • Developing and challenging your team for onongoing improvement
  • Working closely with operations leaders re budgets, forecasts and performance
  • Assessing and advising on commercial partnerships and capex

With a circa $40m turnover, the group provides the unique balance of allowing you to be influential in the success of the business at a Senior Manager level, whilst being close to the numbers on a day-to-day basis. With a competent team and support of Big 4 accountants for tax and advisory requirements, no two days will be the same as the group continues to adapt.

CA/CPA qualified, a solid base of core accounting skills preferably gained within a chartered environment will be a great base. Alternatively, your FMCG/manufacturing accounting experience where you have built a sound knowledge across raw materials, supply chain and distribution will be well received.
A clear and inclusive leader, your ability to influence and drive process improvements and system implementations, whilst looking to stretch yourself will see you succeed.
Based in the south-east, remuneration shall be circa $160 – $180k package inclusive of superannuation.
