Noah’s Ark Preschool in Novato is searching for a new team member

Noah’s Ark Preschool is a ministry of New Life Church and is part of Marin Christian Academy. We are a faith based preschool and take pride in providing quality care with an extensive art and academic program. This is a full day/year round program. We have a team atmosphere, working together with amazing teachers and support staff. We serve 90-100 children every year, ages 2 years – 5 year old.

Responsibilities:

*Maintain a professional, loving atmosphere at all times.

*Work closely with all teaching staff ensuring clear communication regarding children and their care.

*Able to organize and facilitate a full classroom including small/large group, outside/indoor play.

*Facilitate positive communication with parents and staff.

*Understand and comply with all Licensing Regulation in Title 22, Child Care Center.

*Occasionally stay after hours due to Open House, Christmas Production.

Minimum Qualifications:

*12 ECE units completed in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or higher (Bachelor’s preferred).

*Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently (Bi-Lingual a plus).

*Fingerprint clearance, Negative TB test, CPR & First Aide Certification.

*Physical ability to lift and carry children up to 60lbs if necessary & move quickly when required.

*Relate to children, parents, and staff in a professional, loving and respectful manner at all times.

*Knowledge of Handwriting Without Tears a plus.

*Arrive on time, be present in mind and body, be prepped for the day, ready to play!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
