Our Client are a leading Firm of Pension Specialists who hold an excellent reputation within the Industry for providing bespoke Pensions Advice for over 40 years.
Our Client are constantly growing and now seeking a talented HR Assistant to work alongside their HR Manager, the position will offer diversity mainly in the following arears, Recruitment, Vetting and inducting new staff members, ensuring records are maintained.
Daily duties will be varied consisting of;
” Updating job descriptions/specifications as required
” Providing response correspondence for Maternity/Paternity/Shared Parental Leave/Flexible Working/Hybrid Working requests
” Updating and maintaining Flexible Working register
” Updating and maintaining Staff Data sheet
” Processing and issuing of any staff acceptance letters
” Co-ordinating and processing annual vetting procedures for specified staff to keep up to date with the ongoing system
” Recording annual leave, sickness, and attendance
” Supporting the induction and probationary process
” To act as Mental Health First Aid Responder for the business
” Placing adverts and maintaining connections with relevant agencies.
” Liaising with external contact to place job adverts and career opportunities onto company website.
” Arranging and setting up interviews, for both in-house and remote settings.
” Prepare interview packs and schedules for all attendees
” Conduct interviews where necessary
” Preparing and issuing of offer letters and application paperwork
” Communicating with newly appointed staff throughout the selection and recruitment process, providing a point of contact and updates
” Carry out full appointment and new entrant processes ensuring appropriate recruitment checks, vetting and references are obtained, suitable desk set up complete, terms and conditions of employment issued, and full induction programme is arranged and conducted.
” Prepare appointment paperwork for new starters
” Conduct staff inductions where necessary
The successful candidate will ideally have 1- 2 years’ experience within HR.
Our client is looking for someone with a can-do attitude who has solid communication and articulations skills as well as the eagerness and drive to succeed.
