The Role
Nivoda is looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition. Initially reporting to Nivodas Executive team, you will be responsible for developing and building our talent acquisition go-to-market. We are looking for an innovative hands-on leader to hit the ground running initially, supporting immediate business needs and then further driving the development, implementation and execution of Nivodas talent acquisition while supporting a small remote TA and people team based in our India office. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a start-up scale-up environment, advise and influence the direction, and become an effective change agent. Tasked with leveraging strong organisational and management skills using a deep knowledge of the latest trends and approaches to deliver and support Nivoda’s growth and scale effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and lead a global Talent Acquisition function capable of delivering against aggressive targets over the next two years.
- Lead all facets of Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Sourcing, Coordination, support and wellbeing.
- Develop Nivoda’s playbook of talent acquisition using the WHO methodology, ensuring all hiring managers have regular training and support.
- Partner with Nivoda’s executive team to design effective and efficient hiring processes
- Manage our internal remote people managers and external partnerships, including job boards and software vendors.
- Implement online and offline employer branding activities – including participation in recruitment and People events aimed at driving employee engagement and the overall attractiveness and awareness of Nivioda.
- Support and review our annual recruitment and people budget across the departments.
- Manage, train and evaluate Nivoda’s recruitment and supporting people team.
- Establish and monitor key recruitment metrics, people initiatives and wider organisational OKRs
Desired Experience and Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition & Talent Business Partner
- Experience working in a company experiencing growth and transformation
- Ability to interact with teams in offices in all time zones of the USA, UK and Asia regions
- Demonstrated competence in leading talent acquisition and People teams leveraging data and operations effectiveness to ensure equitable, fair, and transparent hiring practices
- Experience scaling talent acquisition and People processes and systems
- Experience in leading teams (direct reports and cross-functional)
- Experience creating internal and external networks
- Strong ability to demonstrate influence and champion for change and delivery excellence
- Continuous improvement mindset with the agility to shift priorities as the needs of the business evolve.
- Strong influencing and communication skills and ability to drive results
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with executives
