We have a vacancy in our North Sydney office for an Associate Software Engineer with 9Now.

The CTV (Connected TV) Web team is a primarily front-end agile software development team building the “Future of Television”. Our core responsibility is building Nine’s suite of applications that run on web TVs (Samsung, LG and Hisense). We’re at the forefront of 9Now’s strategy with unprecedented growth in Smart TV, set-top box usage across Australia.

Day to day you will:

• Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to plan, design, develop and test solutions.
• Work across our predominantly web-based tech stack (Typescript and JavaScript), particularly utilising React.

• Hands-on experience with Typescript, JavaScript, React, React Native or equivalent front-end framework
• Unit testing
• Strong communication skills
• Passionate about learning and continuous self improvement
