Nimbus Co Hiring for Bookkeeper – Part Time Job at Sydney Full Time

Nimbus Co is Australia’s first infrared sauna and wellness studio now with four locations within Australia.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This role covers finance related duties in relation to all of our studios nationally.

Responsibilities:

• General bookkeeping including but not limited to bank reconciliations of all studio accounts
• Reconciliation of loan accounts
• Reconciliation of inter-company loan accounts
• Payroll and superannuation
• Assist in client HR queries
• Prepare BAS, PAYG, STP filing
• Preparation of business grant applications, loan documentation
• Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cash flow statements
• Manage chart of accounts
• Reporting of sales and financial data to management team
• Create and manage budgets, projections and forecasts
• Provide strategic financial advice where applicable
• Proactively identify new initiatives that could benefit the organisation
• Supervision of any Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Skills & experience:

• Minimum Cert IV in Accounting / Bookkeeping
• Proven Xero experience 4 plus years in accounting, preferably certified
• Hubdoc / Dext experience
• Interest and ability to pick up new software programs
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel / Office
• Strong commercial and business acumen
• Ability to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies
• Process and deadline driven mindset with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritise
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills
• Customer service focused
• Self-motivated
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously
