WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR function in Memphis! Our team is responsible for the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs. We carry out responsibilities in HR Information Systems, change management, employee relations, training and development, compensation, organizational development, and recruitment.
We are currently hiring for four roles. Two roles will be based out of the North America Logistics Center (NALC) facility, and the two other roles will be based in our Shelby facility. All four roles are based in Memphis, Tennessee.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you will assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines which aligns the workforce with the strategic goals of the company; partner with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, programs, and laws; serve as the first point of HR on-site contact and provide employee relations counseling.
You will act as a mentor and consultant for leaders on matters of performance management, leadership capability, employee morale, etc; maintain compliance with important policies and procedures as well as all relevant government laws and regulations (i.e. EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc. and assess the organization so that it supports the attainment of the company’s goals.

You will work with, partner with, and advise Nike leaders! This position reports to the site HR Director. This job operates in a professional office environment within a distribution center.
