Nihao Panda Hiring for Chinese Teacher Job at Remote Full Time

A small Chinese language organization is looking for a Chinese teacher to teach a group of non-Chinese speaking children aged 6- 10 yo based in Australia via zoom.

About the organization

We at Ni Hao Panda always believe in encouraging our students to learn Mandarin and apply them in everyday life. We care deeply about student’s learning, making sure that they have a pleasant and positive learning experience.

Our purpose is to cultivate their love of learning Mandarin, as well as to be able to speak, read and write. The students will be learning around a theme and everyday conversations as well as having fun-based activity learning, games and cultural appreciation. We believe that learning should be dynamic with structured lessons and fun activities. All in all, we want to see them bloom with confidence!

About the teacher

Ideally, the successful teacher should:

– Have experience teaching younger kids

– Able to speak English and Mandarin fluently

– Know how to use zoom to conduct online lesson

– Able to connect and engage with kids

Computer, microphone, camera and stable internet connection will be needed as the successful teacher will be teaching online via ZOOM.

Materials, lesson plan and extra training will be provided.

You will be teaching from the first week of November 2021 onwards on a weekly basis.

When: Thursday 5 pm Melbourne time

Class runs for one hour plus 5-10 minutes break in between.

This is a term based learning and hence, teaching sessions will be based on school term.

This is a position to cover maternity leave for 3 – 6 months. However, we may have further opportunities with new classes in the new year (Friday 5pm and Saturday 4pm).

Part-time hours: 1-3 per week
