Nieves Hospitality LLC Hiring for Marketing and Digital Media at Hartford, CT Full Time

As Marketing and Digital Medial specialist, you will assess current marketing programs, develop, create and implement marketing strategies across all of our platforms.
Job Details:

• Manage websites and updates & content
• Create Point of Sale efficiencies
• Enhance online ordering platform
• Café websites and ordering kiosks
• Design and create weekly, monthly, seasonal and trendy promotions
• Manage social media platforms and post accordingly to keep current
• Coordinate and be responsible for all outside event-related vendors, scheduling, insurance paperwork, etc.
• Develop event calendar ahead of time and create content to facilitate.
• This is a fun position, so must have fun personality…
• Implement proper steps of service for each event.
• This is can be a PT/FT position with potential hybrid days. Schedule Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work.
• Will have some sales calls and advertising and increasing sales targets.
• A plus if you have current experience working in cafeteria settings in marketing and advertising.
• This position will have the opportunity to work catering events as needed. Not required but if you need extra cash, you can sign up for extra work… 🙂

Nice to haves:

• 2 – 5 years experience in an operational and/or event management role in a full-service banquet facility, catering company, resort or hotel.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, only as needed.
• Experience in a leadership role is preferred.
• High school diploma is required; college/culinary degree is helpful. Any industry certification or training is a plus.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to perform various activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling and squatting.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A great communicator, able to work well with people in a team environment.
• Highly adaptable with a “can-do” attitude
• Experience with Microsoft products
