Qualifications for the Insurance Customer Service Representative:

• Property & Casualty Insurance License must eventually be able to obtain
• Must have at least 2 year of customer service or client-facing experience
• Applied/AMS computer experience preferred, but not necessary
• High level of verbal and written communication
• Excellent people skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Detail-orientation with advanced computer competencies
• Must be coachable
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills
• Works well in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities for the Insurance Customer Service Representative:

• Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
• Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow-up to ensure resolution
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Take the extra mile to engage customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $18.59 per hour
