The position being offered is to support the work of the Financial Management and Financial Accounting function of NHS Borders Finance Directorate. The role will initially be placed within the Payroll function delivering accurate and timely payment of salaries to all NHS Borders employees in accordance with the identified terms and conditions of employment and statutory regulations. Previous Payroll experience is desirable though not essential as full training will be given to include all aspects of delivering NHS Borders payroll function.

The posts is being recruited on a generic finance directorate job description and the appointed candidate will support, when required, across all functions within our busy Finance Team, therefore a flexible approach, good keyboard skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines are key skills required.
