As a Talent Acquisition Advisor you will provide advice and support on recruitment solutions to ensure NHS Professionals is able to attract, select and recruit the right people to our Corporate Head Office positions to meet the requirements of the business.

You will be responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective recruitment administrative service agreeing and managing deadlines to meet recruitment demands.

A key part of this role will be building and maintaining our talent pipeline on a continuous basis using a variety of candidate sourcing strategies. This will involve sourcing new talent including identification and selection on an ongoing basis as well as proactive out-reach to more active candidates speculatively seeking opportunities.

This is a high volume, fast paced role where you will hold a caseload of your own with various stakeholders.

A background in high volume recruitment is essential, ideally gained from a healthcare or agency recruitment environment.

Responsibilities include:

• To provide advice and support to line managers on recruitment policies and procedures, best practice recruitment and terms and conditions of employment.
• Produce recruitment project plans on new roles ensuring achievable targets are agreed and met.
• Provide advice on advertising location to ensure increased attraction rates and use databases to actively search for candidates e.g Linked In, Reed, Indeed etc
• To advise on selection methods including psychometric testing and assessment centres as appropriate.
• Participate with shortlisting vacancies, pre-screening candidates and act as HR representative on the selection panel for positions within your caseload.
• Support and run training course on recruitment and selection training.
