NHS Professionals International is an established and growing business unit within the organisation and the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Regional Director / Director of International Healthcare. With an emphasis on winning new business, this role has a particular focus on developing marketing collateral, social media, and strategic growth. In conjunction with the Regional / Director – International Healthcare, there will also be a strong focus on maintaining current high levels of customer satisfaction.

Role Summary:

The International Recruitment Manager is responsible for delivering the key performance targets for large-scale successful recruitment of healthcare professionals from around the world to work for NHS Professionals partner Trusts in the UK.

The post holder will run the entire operation of video conferencing and/or in-country campaigns with representatives from partner Trusts and provide strong leadership to suppliers based abroad, before, during and immediately after each campaign.

Liaising and working with NHS Professional Account Management Team and senior management in client Trusts to create, implement and deliver international recruitment plans which meet their requirements within the realities of the current market, national policy, and regulatory constraints.

Key tasks

• Work across multiple time zones in various countries around the world, including long-haul travel and attending in-country government meetings about strategic planning.
• Identify and evaluate potential development opportunities, reaching conclusions based on full analysis and appraisal of the options available in line with strategic objectives.
• Develop and implement international marketing and recruitment plans for priority markets aligned to long term strategic objectives. Ensuring available resources and coordination with other agencies and internal key stakeholders.
• Devise, develop and implement processes and policies, including setting up IT support for large-scale recruitment.
• Evaluate NHS Professionals’ international recruitment partner suppliers to ensure competitive, quality and cost effectiveness and support the strategic development and growth of NHS Professionals International Recruitment Programme.
• Offer advice to candidates on professional regulation, visa entry to the UK and all aspects of flexible worker employment with NHS Professionals and client Trusts.
• Undertake selection processes to shortlist applicants who are likely to achieve registration with the appropriate UK professional body and be an asset to NHS Professionals..
