About the Trust
Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) provides high quality, safe and innovative care to our patients in the community, in their homes or in hospital.
We provide services for adults of working age, adults with learning difficulties, and older people in the London area. We currently deliver most of our care to residents in the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington. However, we also provide substance misuse services in Westminster, and a substance misuse and psychological therapies service to people living in Kingston.
What you’ll be responsible for:
· To process all administration in relation to the employment of all medical staff (including doctors in training, clinical fellows, honorary contract holders, trust-employed locums, specialty doctors and consultants.)
· To support the end to end recruitment process for all medical staff grades, including organizing assessments and interview panels, administrating pre-employment checks and contracts to ESR input and induction support.
· Using IT and HR systems to administer Medical HR support including the use of ESR, Trac, NHS jobs, Oriel, allocate and any other relevant systems.
· To actively participate in selection panel interviews where appropriate and communicate Trust policy in relation to terms and conditions of employment for all staff groups.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the Trust Obtain from Hiring Manager/the Trust –
· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following qualification/experience:
· HR/Recruitment admin experience
· Experience of using IT and HR systems to administer Medical HR support including the use of ESR, Trac, NHS jobs, Oriel, allocate and any other relevant systems.
· Experienced in support the end to end recruitment process for all medical staff grades, including organizing assessments and interview panels, administrating pre-employment checks and contracts to ESR input and induction support.
· MS Office skills
