The post holder will work directly as part of the ISFE reprocurement project to ensure the ISFE functionality aspects related to the accounting and taxation requirements are delivered as part of the ISFE reprocurement project. This will include;

• Support the procurement process to contract award by working with the project team to assess and rate supplier bid submissions, attending and contribute at supplier demonstrations, actively challenge suppliers throughout the tender process, assess the supplier against documented requirements.
• Post contract award lead on General Ledger, Reporting and Fixed Assets Working Group, ensuring throughout the design and delivery stage of the procurement user engagement and feedback is incorporated.
• Lead on User acceptance testing, ensuring key users are engaged and support the testing required to point of sign off.
• Support the project in ensuring the training documentation and delivery is of a high-quality standard in order to meet the business training requirements pre and post go-live.

Key requirements for the role include:

• Qualified accountant with in depth expert knowledge acquired over a significant period of time in NHS Finance
• Proven and significant leadership experience
• Leadership, vision, strategic thinking and planning with high developed political skills
• Ability to develop strong links with managers/members of other initiatives to address interdependencies and ensure alignment
• Ability to build effective relationships at all levels across a diverse range of stakeholders
