The post holder will play a key role in supporting the Head of Continuing Healthcare and will lead in training and developing the Continuing Healthcare team.
In conjunction with colleagues and external stakeholders, the post holder will help ensure there is a complete set of local policies and procedures to successfully deliver Continuing Healthcare services across the region. This will include the delivery of key quality outcomes and strategic objectives.
The post holder will have responsibility for both internal and external training and development aimed at ensuring all staff within the Continuing Healthcare teams are competent to deliver the requirements of their roles.
They will work with partner organisations to develop joint training programmes in order to ensure that CHC, the content of the National Service Framework for Adults and Continuing Care and local procedures are understood and implemented.
